From February 24 to 28, 2027, Hinterstoder will be the center of international skibob sports: ASKÖ SBC Steyr is hosting the 2027 Skibob World Championships and is expecting top athletes from all over the world.
The town of Steyr and the market town of Hinterstoder can look forward to a sporting highlight. The ASKÖ SBC Steyr brings the world’s best athletes to the famous slopes around Hinterstoder. Competitions will be held in all categories: general classes, pupils, youth and masters.

- Giant slalom on the Lärchenhang
- Winners’ ceremony on the village square
📅 Saturday, February 27 – Slalom & Closing
- Slalom on the larch slope
- Winners’ ceremony on the village square
- Closing ceremony in the Hösshalle
📅 Sunday, February 28 – replacement day
- Alternative day if required
The opening ceremony and all winner ceremonies on the village square are open to the public – the entire population is cordially invited to experience the World Cup up close.
